Update: where is Kitty Comittee end of year and where is it headed?

Hello my cats,

First I want to apologize for not updating in a while. Things got a bit chaotic at the Winnie household, as we were in the process of a job change and move.

But progress has been made and we are (mostly) on schedule! Winnie has promised me, after she spends a few weeks being made at me for the move, to be back on a regular schedule.

Ahem. Now that my report got that piece he begged me to get out of the way, Kitty Committee has been coming along. I had to deal with threatening to sit on an artist so that he would work faster, but that has since been resolved.

Here are some pictures from our newest artist. She just needed a few e-meows of clarification, but got the general gist of my catpitalist desires.

First up we have Mickey, a star back-purr on our platform, alongside some more action cards coming up.

Now some pictures from our other lovely artist, which I think are purrfect in a different way.

—— High Level Purrspective —

Ian insisted that just throwing up the art updates (which there are more that will be posted January!) is insufficient, so reluctantly I bring out the schedule. It's his fault I got distracted by the move to Portland and his change of day job! He did inform me, however, that he will be taking a month off before switching day jobs, which should help him pick up the slack. Honestly, if I didn't pay him already I'd be docking his pay as the savvy catpitalist I am.

From a high level, here's what i was told:

#1: get the art completed (currently 50% done with assets, aiming to be done by mid-Feb)

#2: get the game revisions completed (will post an update next week, but plan to start outreaching about playtesting with new assets in January then finalizing the game in February and posting on tabletop simulator and tabletopia)

#3: send the manufacturer the completed files end of feb/early march. Currently finishing talks with Gamelyn, have a quote that doesn't break the kitty bank

#4: get a test copy from (probably) Gamelyn in April to confirm things are good

#5: open pledge manager in late April/early May

#6: hopefully that all gets us game copies shipped out by Fall/end of year, but will keep posted if those dates change!

Publishing Purrsuits: Winnie Updates

Why Hello there! I didn't quite see you there. As you can see, I'm hard at work managing my employees for Kitty Committee.

My human claims I'm late on this update, but I told him I'm still within the terms of monthly so take that Ian. 

This update has a bunch of good news and a reminder!

First spot of news is that to help make deadlines, we've gotten ourselves a new artist to support us! And she's great. I asked her to commission me taking a water break in my office, and it came out fantastic.

Next up, we've got a reminder for those who need to submit photos of your cat--- Ian has informed me most of you hoomans did it, but there are still a few cat stragglers. I understand--as Winnie, I can get pretty lazy, but please do get around to it soon. As an incentive, you can see how one of those has come out so far --- I still think I'm cuter, but i'll admit Mittens is looking ready to party.

Final thing --- it took me a while to type up the email by banging at the keyboard, but I was able to get some manufacturing quotes. Expect next update to include who the publisher will be!

 Merchant Lucy-furr reporting! Winnie is busy from repping at gencon and being a terror facilitating Call of Cath-thulhu games. I am pleased to announce where we are at with the end of the kickstarter, and what comes next!

The team's plan is to give you monthly updates, starting with this one! Do let us know if there are questions, of course!

What you should expect out of this month:

1) From those of you we need your lovely Cat photos from, you will be contacted this week on how to send them! Please make sure they are the highest quality you can give!

2) We will be finalizing a manufacturer by the end of the month, giving an update next month on what the publishing plans are.

3) For those who signed up to playtest, expect to get calendar invites about that soon!

4) Once we receive the cat photos submitted, our artist will be working on them quickly as we can! Expect to see future updates with card art as it comes along!

Hello Cats and Cat Allies,

Ahem. Excuse me, I had to go move Meera into a different room for a moment. Meera was a bit too, as my vet likes to call it, "expressive" for me. 

I took a look at Meera's stretch goal list, and after letting myself get a bit hissterical, I was able to correct it to look better. At 11000, I will also let a special guest star announce the next stretch goal. 

i am also pleased to announce a new add on! you may now add an envelope signed by my very signature, of Winnie the Actually Cutest Cat, not Meera. Void floofs are better than tortoise shell. i dare you to disagree!

tell your friends, we only have 60 hours left!

Almost on our way to first stretch goal! Plus a new card idea!

Greetings cats!

I regret to inform you that Winnie is currently busy, so Meera, our director of Great Felines, will need to take over for this communication.

Ahem.

Thank you all for listening to me, the great Meera. I am much cuter than Winnie, and floofier. Therefore you must listen to what I say.

We are so very close to our next stretch goal! Overriding Winnie's instruction, I will be posting the next goal and some updates.

This graph was 100% me, not Winnie. Winnie is busy trying to convince Ian to go on the feed me every hour diet. I'd highly recommend.
